SBARCATORE: an urban regeneration project to establish a new destination for ecological-naturalistic tourism. Once impelmented it will improve the status of an  area of exceptional value neglectedby the entire population. The project sets two goals: 1) to make available to the population, a 3.5 km long PARCO MARITTIMO,  2) to renovate a 1961 Hotel facing the sea. Both projects implement a logic of small volumes scattered on the property. The park project envision the establishement of a number of pavillions for the benefit of its visitors. The hotel project envisions the rationalitazion of the existing structure and the relocation of some of the volume in a cascade of new isolated rooms and pavillions that will accompany the guests towards the sea to enjoy the view of the Catania bay.
