Competition entry for the regeneration of an industrial complex along the river in Turin. Our masterplan envision 4 thematic issues: TOBACCO POLO: A new Inter-university Campus where the lives of students and employees are enhanced by a new urban void for enjoying a new park along the river; SUPERGA SQUARE: a void that makes the memory of the area interact with the exceptional value of the river landscape; POLYCLINIC OF CULTURE: a strong integration of education, research, and processing of memory understood as preservation, management, description, digitization, restoration, and enhancement. A place for comparison and elaboration of multiple knowledge; REGENERATION: The new urban spaces inserted in the regenerated building fabric of the former Manifattura will dialogue with the surrounding city to achieve a cultural enrichment of the community with a view to restoring the memory of places together with the objectives of innovation and economic and environmental sustainability.
